A formal organization that will be composed of numerous world and continental commissions that will communicate with the national federations is needed for this new and comprehensive project. The attention of WKMO is now on the World Cups, Continental and World Championships, Technical Workshops, Referee Courses, etc.
Japanese pronunciation is a martial art that was founded in what is now Okinawa, Japan, on the Ryukyu Islands. It developed from the indigenous martial arts of the Ryukyu Islands. Furthermore, under the influence of Chinese martial arts, particularly the Fujian White Crane, literally "hand" Using punching, kicking, knee strikes, elbow strikes, and open hand techniques. It also includes knife-hands, spear-hands, and palm-heel strikes; Karate is now mainly a striking art. Compare to Taekwondo, Karate has some differences, similarities, so many people can confuse two striking arts.
Clashing, throws, joint locks, and critical point strikes are also taught traditionally and in some modern models. In the Ryukyu Kingdom, Karate evolved. It was introduced 20th century by the Japanese mainland during a period of cultural exchanges between the Japanese and the Chinese. After the Taisho period, it was routinely taught in Japan.
All martial arts are both an excellent instrument of self-defense and a modern sport. Martial arts are founded on ancient wisdom and thus contain profound ethical and moral messages to be passed on by WKMO. World Karate Martial Arts Organization firmly believes that indeed, all martial arts constitute one of the highest manifestations of human art, and deserve recognition as a world heritage. They can be practiced by all at any age in any position because of their ability to fuse health, meditation, philosophy and sport, encouraging people to feel each other as brothers in art and promoting teamwork, empathy and integration.
History of World Karate Martial Arts Organization
It began in 1970 when the first world karate organization was founded by Mr. Sasakwa, a Japanese multimillionaire, and Jacques Delacour, the French karate president. Ryoichi Sasakwa can be considered the true father of Karate in the world: this discipline, from the 1970s until today, has boomed mainly thanks to his help.
Approval of the International Olympic Committee:
To receive the approval of the International Olympic Committee, the WUKO&AD should have merged with the Itkf, the traditional karate organization, in 1990. The merger did not take place for different reasons, and the IOC only accepted the Wuko, provided the name was abandoned.
It was the case and the WKF, the World Karate Federation, was born from the ashes of WUKO&AD, the unique world karate martial arts organization recognized by the IOC that is still fighting for the Olympic recognition of Karate under the leadership of Spanish President Espino's. In 2016, the target could be achieved: we're giving them our best wishes.
The association developed rapidly, not least because the priorities were and are different from those of the WKF, which seeks to recognize only one organization for the nation at the Olympic Games. Each federation submitting a membership request is accepted by the new WUKO&AD.
A significant accomplishment, which nevertheless created a disparity in the order of bureaucracy and organization is beneficial for everyone. From the bureaucratic and legislative point of view, the management party, powerful in terms of world karate martial arts organization, displayed significant imbalances, forcing the Honorary President to revoke the temporary concession of the name and emblem of WUKO&AD.
